Securatech respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information through our website, client review process, client case study process and business activities.
1. Who we are
In this policy, “Securatech”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Securatech (TAS) Pty Ltd, ABN 54 634 501 358. We provide electronic security, video surveillance, access control, technology integration, structured cabling and supporting network infrastructure services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business, including:
- your name, email address, telephone number, position and organisation;
- company, project, premises, site and service details;
- information you provide about an enquiry, quotation, project, service requirement or business relationship;
- client review statements, publication preferences, authority confirmations and optional company logos or client photographs;
- case study information, publication preferences, testimonials, image notes and authority confirmations;
- photographs or other media you choose to upload, which may incidentally contain identifiable people or other personal information;
- records of correspondence and our dealings with you; and
- technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and approximate usage data.
Please do not submit passwords, alarm codes, access credentials, detailed vulnerabilities or other highly sensitive security information through website forms.
3. Client review submissions and publication authority
When a client or authorised representative completes our client review form, we collect the information needed to assess and potentially publish a short review or reference. This may include the submitter’s name, organisation, optional position or title, review statement, optional company logo or client photograph, and the publication permissions selected in the form.
Review submissions are not published automatically. Securatech reviews each submission before publication and uses the recorded permissions to determine which elements may be displayed publicly. A submitter may separately authorise publication of their name, organisation, review statement and optional logo or photograph.
Information that has not been authorised for public use may still be retained as part of the submission and our business records, but will not be intentionally published by Securatech as part of the review.
4. Case study submissions and publication authority
When an authorised client representative completes our case study form, we collect the information needed to prepare a potential Securatech project case study. This may include the organisation and project name, general location, project requirements, delivered solution, outcomes, technology platforms, testimonial, uploaded images and the submitter’s publication selections.
We use the recorded permissions to determine what client-supplied information may be used publicly. A client can choose which categories are authorised and can request final review before publication. Information that has not been authorised for public use may still be retained as part of the submission and our business records, but will not be intentionally published by Securatech as part of the case study.
5. Photographs, logos and media
Media supplied through the client review or case study forms is used to assess and prepare approved review or case study material and, where the relevant publication permission is selected, may be used in Securatech website, social media, proposal, presentation and marketing material. Review-form media may include a company logo or client photograph; case-study media may include project photography.
Submitters should avoid uploading confidential information, faces or personal information relating to other people, vehicle registrations, security credentials, sensitive infrastructure or other restricted material unless they are authorised to provide that material. We may choose not to publish an image or logo even where permission has been provided.
6. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you submit an enquiry, client review or case study, upload a logo or image, call or email us, request a quotation, engage our services or otherwise communicate with us. We may also receive information from your employer, contractor, authorised representative or referral source, and automatically through website hosting, security and analytics technologies.
7. How we use information
We may use personal information to respond to enquiries; assess, quote, plan and deliver work; communicate about projects and services; provide support; assess, verify and administer client reviews; prepare and administer client-approved case studies; verify publication permissions; maintain business records; improve our website and services; protect our systems and users; and comply with legal, insurance and regulatory obligations. 8. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose information where reasonably required to employees, contractors, professional advisers, technology and hosting providers, communications providers, insurers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies. Our website and forms use Wix services, including storage and processing of form submissions and uploaded media. Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and protect information handled on our behalf.
Where a client has expressly authorised publication, approved review or case study information may also be disclosed publicly through Securatech-controlled websites, social media, proposals, presentations and marketing material. Public material may subsequently be viewed, copied or shared by third parties outside our control.
9. Cookies and website data

10. Storage, retention and security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Client review and case study submissions and uploaded media may be retained while we assess, prepare, review, publish and maintain the relevant material and for a reasonable business-record period afterwards. Other information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy or by law, then securely deleted or de-identified where practicable.
11. Access, correction and publication requests
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request that inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading information be corrected. An authorised client representative may also contact us regarding a submitted review, case study information, publication permissions or future use of submitted material. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting on a request.
Where material has already been lawfully published or distributed, complete removal from third-party copies or previously distributed material may not be possible, but we will reasonably consider requests relating to content under our control and future use.
