Securatech is committed to responsible electronic communications and compliance with applicable Australian spam laws. This policy explains how we manage commercial email, SMS and similar messages.
1. Consent
We send commercial electronic messages only where we have express consent, where consent can reasonably be inferred from an existing business relationship, or where another lawful basis applies. An enquiry, client review submission, case study submission or service interaction does not automatically mean you will be added to a general marketing list.
2. Sender identification
Our commercial messages will accurately identify Securatech as the sender and provide current contact information. If a service provider sends a message for us, the message must still identify Securatech as the business that authorised it.
3. Unsubscribing
Commercial messages will include a clear, functional and reasonably accessible way to unsubscribe. We do not charge an unsubscribe fee or require an account to opt out. We will action valid unsubscribe requests within five working days and keep the unsubscribe facility functional for at least 30 days after the message is sent.
4. Service, review and case study communications
Some messages are operational rather than promotional, including quotations, appointment details, project updates, safety notices, invoices, support communications, review verification or publication correspondence, case study drafting, requests to verify submitted information, publication-approval correspondence and confirmation of publication preferences. Where permitted by law, opting out of marketing may not stop communications reasonably necessary to deliver requested services or administer a review or case study you have submitted or agreed to review.
5. Reviews, case studies and marketing consent
Completing a client review form, completing a case study form, or granting permission for Securatech to publish approved review or case study material does not by itself constitute consent to receive unrelated direct marketing communications. Publication authority and consent to receive commercial electronic messages are treated separately.
6. Address harvesting and third-party lists
We do not use or supply address-harvesting software or lists created through address harvesting. Before using a third-party list or messaging provider, we require an appropriate basis for contacting recipients and remain responsible for messages sent on our behalf.
7. Reporting unwanted messages
If you receive a message that you believe breaches this policy, forward it or provide relevant details to info@securatech.com.au. We will investigate and take appropriate corrective action.
8. Privacy and changes
Personal information used for communications, including client review and case study contact information, is handled under our Privacy Policy. We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change.
