These Website Terms govern your use of the Securatech website, including website enquiries, client review submissions, client case study submissions and online trading account applications. Commercial work supplied by Securatech is separately governed by the applicable quotation or agreement, our Terms of Trading and, where relevant, our Service Terms.
1. Website information
The website provides general information about Securatech and our electronic security, video surveillance, access control, integration, cabling and network infrastructure services. Content is not a quotation, engineering specification, security guarantee or substitute for an assessment of your site and requirements.
2. Enquiries, account applications and service agreements
Submitting an enquiry or trading account application does not create a contract, approve credit or require us to provide services. Any project, product supply, installation, maintenance, support or credit arrangement is subject to a separate written quotation, scope, agreement, account approval or other terms accepted by the parties. If those terms conflict with these website terms, the specific engagement terms prevail for that work.
Trading account applications are assessed by Securatech and approval is not automatic. Applicants must provide information they are authorised to provide and should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information.
3. Client reviews
Our client review form allows clients and authorised representatives to provide a short review or reference together with their name, organisation, optional position or title, and optional company logo or client photograph. Submitting a review does not require Securatech to publish it.
The person submitting a review must have authority to provide the information and any logo, image or other material supplied. They must not submit material owned by another party unless they are authorised to provide it and to grant the publication permissions selected in the form.
4. Review publication authority
Securatech will publish a client review only after internal review and only in accordance with the publication permissions selected by the submitter. Permissions may cover the client’s name, organisation, review statement and optional logo or photograph.
Unless otherwise agreed, Securatech may make reasonable edits for grammar, spelling, length, formatting or presentation, provided the meaning of the review is not materially changed. We may contact the submitter to verify details before publication and may decline to publish any review.
A submitter may contact Securatech before publication to clarify or withdraw an unexercised permission. If approved material has already been lawfully published, distributed, printed or incorporated into existing marketing material, removal from every existing copy or third-party channel may not be practicable; however, we will reasonably consider requests concerning future use and material under our control.
5. Client case study submissions
Our client case study form allows clients and authorised representatives to provide project information, comments, testimonials, photographs and publication preferences. A submission is intended to help Securatech prepare potential case study and associated marketing material. Submitting information does not oblige Securatech to publish it and does not oblige the client to approve a final case study where final review has been requested.
The person submitting the form must have authority to provide the submitted information and to grant the publication permissions they select. Please do not provide information or images owned by another party unless you have authority to do so.
6. Case study publication authority
Securatech will use client-supplied case study information publicly only in accordance with the publication permissions selected in the submitted form and any later written instructions agreed with the client. Permissions may cover the organisation name, project or site name, general location, project details and scope, approved photography and testimonials.
Where the client requests final review, Securatech will provide the prepared case study for approval before public release. Clients may contact us before publication to clarify or withdraw an unexercised permission. If material has already been lawfully published, distributed, printed or incorporated into existing marketing material under a valid authority, removal from every existing copy or third-party channel may not be practicable; however, we will reasonably consider requests concerning future use and content under our control.
7. Images, logos and third-party rights
Images or logos uploaded through the review or case study forms should not contain confidential information, personal information, security credentials, sensitive infrastructure or other restricted material unless the submitter has authority for that material to be supplied and, where selected, published. Securatech may crop, resize or make reasonable presentation edits to approved images or logos but will not intentionally alter their substantive meaning. We may decline to use any submitted media.
8. Accuracy and editorial preparation
You should provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Securatech may edit submitted review or case study information for grammar, length, clarity, branding and presentation, provided any published material remains materially consistent with the permissions and information supplied. We may contact the authorised representative to verify details before publication.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material or use the website in a way that infringes another party’s rights.
10. Security-sensitive information
Do not submit passwords, alarm codes, access credentials, detailed vulnerabilities or other highly sensitive security information through website forms. Review and case study submissions should not reveal information that could compromise the security of a site, system or person. Contact us to arrange an appropriate communication method where sensitive information needs to be discussed.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its text, graphics, branding, layouts and other content are owned by or licensed to Securatech. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business evaluation. You must not reproduce, modify, publish or commercially exploit website content without permission.
Ownership of client-supplied reviews, logos, photographs and other material remains with the existing owner. By granting publication authority through a review or case study form, the authorised submitter grants Securatech a non-exclusive permission to use the selected material for the approved review or case study and associated website, social media, proposal, presentation and marketing purposes, subject to the permissions recorded in the submission.
12. Third-party links
The website may link to DFNDR X, product manufacturers, social media and other third-party sites. Links are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for external content, availability, security or privacy practices.
13. Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep website information accurate and available but do not warrant that it is complete, current, error-free or continuously accessible. Products, capabilities and content may change without notice.
14. Liability and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Securatech excludes liability arising solely from reliance on general website content or interruption of website access. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information, including information contained in account applications, client reviews, case study submissions and uploaded logos or images, is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Subject to any rights that cannot be excluded, the courts of Tasmania have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the website.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page. Questions about these terms, client review permissions, case study permissions or account applications can be sent to info@securatech.com.au.
